On 05/31/16 at 6:48 pm the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from #1000 Bridgeport Avenue. There was no fire. Two engines, one ladder truck and one tower truck responded.

 

On 06/01/16 at 04:09 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #39 Rivendell Drive for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. One engine responded.

 

On 06/01/16 at 3:27 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #51 Richards Boulevard. There was no fire. One engine responded.

 

On 06/01/16 at 6:49 pm the Huntington Co. #3, White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to a report of a house fire at #360 Nichols Avenue. Upon arrival firefighters found a fire had occurred on a kitchen stove after baby bottles being heated ignited. The home sustained minor smoke damage. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On 06/02/16 at 10:55 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a report of a fire in a car on Bodyk Place. Upon arrival firefighters found a small fire had occurred in a vehicle that was caused by an explosive device. The incident is under investigation by the fire marshal and police. One rescue truck responded.

 

On 06/02/16 at 11:15 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the area of Perry Avenue for an open burning. One rescue truck responded.

 

 

On 06/02/16 at 11:40 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a firework exploding on a vehicle. Upon arrival firefighters found an explosive device was placed in the vehicle exhaust pipe and ignited causing damage to the vehicle. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On 06/03/16 at 8:19 am the Huntington Co. #3 and White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of an odor of gasoline in the basement at #172 Ripton Road. Firefighters found the odor was caused by a leaking part on a pressure washer stored in the basement. Two engines responded.

 

On 06/03/16 at 4:02 pm the Echo Hose H & L CO. #1 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #372 Papere Ridge in the Sunwood Condo Complex. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On 06/04/16 at 8:59 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #289 Nichols Avenue for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. The cause of the alarm was not reported. Three engines responded.

 

 

On 06/04/16 at 10:15 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Nichols Avenue in the area of Isinglass Road. Two engines, one rescue truck and one utility truck responded.

 

On 06/05/16 at 08:54 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. 31 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 southbound near exit 14. Two engines and one rescue truck responded.

 

On 06/06/16 at 4:54 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. 31 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at unit #13 at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking food caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

 

On 06/07/16 at 3:47 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, Huntington Co. #3 and Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from the Shelton Intermediate School at #675 North Constitution Boulevard. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On 06/07/16 at 7:42 pm the Pine Rock park Co. #4 and the echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a dumpster fire in the parking lot at #815 River Road. Two engines responded.

 

On 06/07/16 at 8:13 pm the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. 31 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the First Niagara Bank at #704 Bridgeport Avenue for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two engines, one rescue truck, one ladder truck and one tower truck responded.

 

On 06/07/16 at 8:56 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #142 Hillside Avenue for an odor of propane gas in the area. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On 06/08/16 at 11:02 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #6 Wall Street for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. One engine responded.

 

On 06/09/16 at 11:11 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on the route 8 Exit 12 off ramp. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On 06/09/16 at 11:12 am the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #33 Sharon Drive to assist the homeowner with a broken water pipe in the home. One engine responded.

 

On 06/09/16 at 12:19 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Elizabeth Shelton School #138 Willoughby Road. Two engines responded. There was no fire.

 

On 06/09/16 at 2:41 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound near Exit 12. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On 06/09/16 at 5:42 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of an odor of propane gas in the area of #23 George Street. Firefighters determined the odor was caused when a propane gas grill was being used in the area. Two engines responded.

 

 

On 06/09/16 at 6:22 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of smoke in the area of #83 Saw Mill City Road. No further information was reported. One engine responded and one brush truck responded.

 

On 06/09/16 at 10:47 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the Birmingham Condo’s at #145 Canal Street for a carbon monoxide detector sounding.  A faulty detector caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

On 06/10/16 at 2:06 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #188 Leavenworth Road to assist with a basement flooded with water. One utility truck responded.

 

On 06/10/16 at 8:25 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a report of smoke in the area of Richards Boulevard and Belmont Avenue. An open burn in the area caused the call. One engine responded.

 

On 06/11/16 at 8:29 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking activated the alarm. On engine responded.

 

On 06/12/16 at 8:17 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an alarm sounding at the Talalay Global #510 River Road. There was no fire. The alarm was an ammonia alarm that sounded due to a fault in the alarm system. Three engines, one ladder truck and one tower truck responded.

 

On 06/12/16 at 7:03 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding in an apartment at the Avalon Shelton II #185 Canal Street.  The cause of the alarm was no reported. One engine responded.
