Turbulence swept the 2016 Shelton Coed A League championship match over the Bleepers.

Turbulence bested The Bleepers to win the Shelton Parks & Recreation’s 2016 Coed A League Volleyball Championship.

Turbulence won the first two games in the best-of-three championship.

In both games, the lead changed hands early with Turbulence getting a strong lead which it would not relinquish. Turbulence took game one, 27-25, and game two by a score of 25-22. Turbulence played playoff volleyball for a few extra weeks, having to win a few games in the final week of the regular season just to make the playoffs.

After securing the fourth seed on the last week of the season, Turbulence beat top-seeded Precision Spikers to advance to the championship match.

The Bleepers, seeded second, defeated The Elliots in the first round of playoffs.
