On June 12 at 10:34 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to the Chili’s restaurant at #834 Bridgeport Avenue for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. One engine and one tower truck responded.

 

On June 13 at 6:15 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, White Hills Co. #5 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to the Housatonic River to assist in a search for a distraught person. After a search of the river no person was found. Three marine units were used.

 

On June 13  at 7:20 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a fire alarm sounding at #155 Morningside Court. One engine responded.

 

 

On June 14 at 5:43 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of smoke in the area of the maples off Indian Well Road. Firefighters searched the area but for no smoke or fire. Two engines responded.

 

On June 14 at 6:42 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a report of smoke in the area of Far Mill Road and Waverly Road. Firefighters found the smoke was caused by exhaust from a motorcycle. One engine responded.

 

On June 15  at 10:37 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking activated the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 15 at 3:20 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Coram Avenue at Center Street. One rescue truck responded.

 

On June 16  at 11:48 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a smoke alarm sounding at #116 High Street. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

On June 16 at 2:30 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a fire alarm sounding at #50 Shelton Road. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm to sound. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 16 at 8:41 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a report of a possible house fire in the area of Wabuda Place and east Village Road. Firefighters checked the area but found no fire. Four engines, two rescue truck and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 16 at 9:50 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to the Huntington Historical Society at #70 Ripton Road for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On June 17 at 8:05 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, White Hills Co. #5 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Avalon Shelton at #185 Canal Street for a natural gas leak. Two engines and two ladder trucks responded.

 

On June 17 at 3:22 pm the echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the Avalon Shelton at #185 Canal Street for a small fire in mulch along the property. One engine responded.

 

On June 17 at 4:28 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to wires down in the roadway in the area of #17 Long Hill Avenue. One engine responded.

 

On June 17 at 5:04 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #18 Molnar Drive for open burning. The fire was extinguished since the owner had no permit to burn. One engine responded.

 

On June 17 at 7:01 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident at Huntington Street and Trap Falls Road. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On June 18 at 00:48 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 north bound near exit 12. One engine and two rescue trucks responded.

 

On June 18 at 8:11 am the Echo hose Co. 31 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from unit #22 at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

On June 18 at 2:20 pm the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from the Benchmark Senior Living Center at #708 Bridgeport Avenue. There was no fire. Two engines and one Ladder truck responded.

 

On June 18 at 5:27 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #304 Isinglass Road for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. One engine responded.

 

On June 18 at 6:14 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from the Spooner House at #30 Todd Road. There was no fire. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 18 at 9:50 pm the echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to #41 Elm Street for a report of open burning. One engine responded.

 

On June 19 at 4:18 pm the Huntington Co. #3, White Hills Co. #5 and the Echo hose Co. #1 responded to a gas grille fire in the rear of #3 High Ridge Road.  The fire was out upon arrival of firefighters. Two engines responded.

 

On June 19 at 10:50 pm the Echo hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #466 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 19 at 11:27 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a car fire at #11 Franz Way. The fire, which occurred in the car trunk, was out upon arrival of firefighters. Two engines responded.
