On June 27 at 7:57 am the Echo hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #151 Summerfield Gardens for a report of an odor of smoke in the home. Firefighters found the odor was caused by mulch outside the home smoldering. Two engines responded.

 

On June 27 at 8:05 am the White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose Co. #1, Huntington Co #3 and the Monroe Fire Department responded to a report from a passerby of a house fire at #15 Little Fox Run. Upon arrival firefighters found a fire on a rear deck of the home. The fire had already spread into the living space and attic of the house before firefighters extinguished the fire. Although firefighters contained the fire to the attic and living space the home was not livable until repairs can be made. One occupant escaped unharmed. An investigation by the fire marshal’s office determined the fire started on the rear deck when an occupant of the home discarded a cigarette in a dried flower pot. Three engines, one rescue truck and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 27 at 11:15 am the Huntington Co. #3, echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Hilton Garden Inn at #25 Old Stratford Road for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Dust from construction activated the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 27 at 3:58 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 northbound between exits 12 and 13. Two engines and one rescue truck responded.

 

On June 28 at 3:57 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded to the area of #57 Walnut Tree Hill Road for power lines down in the road. One engine responded.

 

On June 28 at 4:13 am the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to #32 Bartlett Lane for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. One engine responded.

 

On June 29 at 03:54 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #15 Blackberry lane for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. A malfunction caused the alarm. Two engines responded.

 

On June 29 at 11:44 am the echo hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a fire in an air conditioner at #52 Sinsabaugh Heights. The fire was out upon arrival. A short circuit in the units controls caused the alarm. Two engines responded.

 

On June 29 at 5:11 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Old Stratford Road. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On June 29 at 9:09 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of an odor of natural gas at the Avalon Shelton #185 canal Street. No odor or leaks were found by firefighters. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On June 29 at 9:11 pm the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to Walmart at #465 Bridgeport Avenue for a report of an odor of propane gas in the building. Firefighters determined the odor may have been caused by construction operations. One engine responded.

 

On June 30 at 04:45 am the echo hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to assist EMS with a patient at the Hewitt Hospital #45 Maltby Street. Two engines responded.

 

On June 30 at 3:11 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #6 Bayberry lane for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two engines responded

On July 1 at 10:32 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Oakdale Self Storage facility at #486 River Road. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On July 2 at 5:25 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4, Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #10 Controls Drive for an automatic fire alarm sounding. Smoke from a electrical problem caused the alarm. Two engines, one rescue truck and one ladder truck responded.

 

On July 2 at 9:08 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a report of smoke in the area of #202 Division Avenue. No further information was reported. One engine responded.
