Obituary: Ruth Burgess Piscitelli, 83, of Monroe, formerly of Fairfield

Ruth Burgess Piscitelli, 83, of Monroe, formerly of Fairfield, wife of the late Vincent Piscitelli, died Aug. 2, at home.

Born in Bridgeport on Feb. 17, 1933, daughter of the late George Sr. and Kate DawGaw Burgess.

Survived by four children, Maryellen Ruth Hurd and her husband, Cliff of New York, Rosemarie Pamela DiSanto of Fairfield, Francesco George Piscitelli and his wife, Ruth of Monroe and Kim Lorraine Falsetti and her husband, Bert of Shelton, four sisters, Alice Waller of Monroe, Laura Tischbein of Kentucky, Naomi Ball of Pennsylvania and Katherine Finch of Tennessee, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four great-great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by a brother, George (Buddy) A. Burgess Jr., a sister, Betty Plisko, a grandson and a great-grandson.

Services: Tuesday, Aug. 9, 10:30 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Visiting hours: Monday, 5-8 p.m.
