Arrest made in fatal hit and run on cyclist

A New Haven man was charged in connection to a hit and run incident that killed an Ansonia man in December 2015 along Bridgeport Ave.

On Sept. 2 Ryder Kingsley, 36, of New Haven surrendered himself to Shelton Police at their headquarters where he was then charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and evading responsibility in connection with the hit and run that killed avid bike rider Brian “Buzz” Climis back in Dec. 23, 2015.

Climis was the husband of 32 years to Karen (Corbin) Climis a father of three children and had one grandchild.

According to Shelton Police, Kingsley’s bond was set at $100,000 bond and he was transported to Derby Superior Court for arraignment Friday.
