The Nichols Garden Club will hold their first meeting of the season. New members are welcome.

The Nichols Garden Club’s first meeting of the season will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m., at the Nichols Improvement Association House (NIA), 1773 Huntington Tpke., Trumbull.

Members will come together to share a light meal, each contributing an appetizer or dessert, and catch up after the summer break. Members will also bring perennials, dug from their gardens, to exchange during their Member Divide and Share.

On the agenda, is a recap of this year’s Secret Garden Tour, during which almost 150 visitors toured five beautiful and diverse local gardens. This year, each garden also featured a selection of botanical themed artwork created by Trumbull Public School students.

This will also be a great opportunity to meet new club members and review the line-up of interesting educational programs, and the many community out-reach opportunities planned for this year.

New members are welcome.

For anyone interested in membership, or attending the meeting, contact membership chairperson, Lee Korzun, 203-521-3739
