Home aid arrested for larceny

Samantha Adler

The Monroe Police arrested 26-year-old Samantha Adler of Shelton for larceny and forgery on Oct. 12.

Police said they received a fraud complaint stating that someone had cashed two checks with the victim’s forged signature.

Police said Adler worked as a Home Health Aid in the victim’s home and that she forged checks for more than $800.

She was released on a $1,000 bond.
