Shelton Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on a Longfellow Rd. property on Oct. 23 just before 12 p.m.
At 11:44 AM, the Shelton Police Department responded to 70 Longfellow Road in Shelton for a missing person’s complaint. According to police, the complainant reported that when she woke up that morning she could not locate her son, Theodore Bortnick, 56.
Police searched the area and discovered Bortnick dead in a drainage ditch located on the property. The Connecticut State Police Major Crime team responded to process the scene.
The Shelton Police are continuing to actively investigate the death, however they have reported that there is no indication of any “foul play” at this time.
