On Oct. 24 at 8:19 the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to assist EMS at #57 Woodland Park. One engine responded.

On Oct. 24 at 9:59 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Old Stratford Road near Route 8 exit 12. One engine responded.

On Oct. 24 at 2:42 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #1 Waterview Drive for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Dust from construction caused the alarm. Two engines and one tower truck responded.

On Oct. 24 at 6:01 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Huntington Street near Lane Street. One rescue truck responded.

On Oct. 24 at 9:28 pm responded to assist EMS at #57 Woodland Park. The call was cancelled shortly after.

On Oct. 25 at 9:05 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident at #18 Old Stratford Road. One engine responded.

On Oct. 25 at 1:50 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a furnace fire at #229 Soundview Avenue. Firefighters arrived and extinguished a fire in a furnace that was caused by a malfunction with the unit. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

On Oct. 25 at 3:55 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #41 Jordan Avenue. There was no fire. Dust from construction caused the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

On Oct. 25 at 9:51 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to #115 New Street for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. One rescue truck responded.

On Oct. 26 at 4:44 am the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a natural gas odor the Big Y Supermarket at #405 Bridgeport Avenue. No cause of the odor was found by firefighters. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

On Oct. 26 at 2:04 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #31 lazy Brook Road for a carbon

monoxide detector sounding. One rescue truck responded.

On Oct. 26 at 6:25 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a fire alarm sounding at #40 Freedom Way. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine and rescue truck responded.

On Oct. 26 at 1:50 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a furnace fire at #229 Soundview Avenue. Firefighters arrived and extinguished a fire in a furnace that was caused by a malfunction with the unit. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

On Oct. 26 at 10:22 pm the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an odor of natural gas outside at the Sears hardware Store at #705 Bridgeport Avenue. Firefighters checked the area and store but found no cause for the odor. Two engines, one rescue truck and one ladder truck responded.

On 10/27/16 at 1:55 pm the Huntington Co. #3 were dispatched to respond to the Nichols Fire

Department in Trumbull to standby while Trumbull firefighters fought a house fire. The call for

assistance was cancelled shortly thereafter.

On Oct. 27 at 3:15 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a furnace fire at #116 Longfellow Road. Firefighters arrived and extinguished a fire in a natural gas supply line that was caused by a malfunction. Two engines, one rescue truck and one ladder truck responded.

On Oct. 28 at 1:12 pm the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to assist EMS at #101 Wesley Heights Road. One engine and one utility truck responded.

On Oct. 28 at 2:45 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to the area of Howe Avenue and Wharf Street for a wire down in the roadway. One utility truck responded.

On Oct. 28 at 9:39 pm the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the area of #419 Long Hill Avenue for an overhead power line arcing. Two engines responded.

On Oct. 29 at 9:45 am the Echo Hose Co. #1, Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #466 Bridgeport Avenue. There was no fire. One utility truck responded.

On Oct. 29 at 3:06 pm the Pine Rock Co. #4, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded of #619 Long Hill Avenue for an odor of natural gas in the area. No cause of the odor was found after a search by firefighters. Three engines and one rescue truck responded.

On Oct. 29 at 3:40 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #17 North Meadowridge Drive for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. One engine responded.

On Oct. 30 at 5:07 am the Echo Hose Co. #1, Pine Rock Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a fire alarm sounding at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. A medical alarm sounding was mistaken for a fire alarm. Two engines responded.

On Oct. 30 at 6:38 am the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a fire outside the rear of Center Street Social at #135 Center Street. Firefighters arrived and found a fire in a small pile of cardboard boxes in the rear of the building. One engine and one brush truck responded.
