Obituary: Robert “Bobby J” August Jadach, 70, of Stratford

Robert “Bobby J” August Jadach, 70, of Stratford, owner of Bobby J’s Bait & Tackle in Milford, retired as a logistic manager for Exxon Mobil, husband of Janet Yurcisin Jadach, died Oct. 24, at home.

Born on April 7, 1946, in Derby to the late August and Helen Kozlowski Jadach; U.S. Army.

Besides his wife, survivors include sons, Richard Gould and wife, Robin of Ansonia, Robert Jadach and wife, Maria of Milford, Jason Jadach and wife, Casey-Lee of Bridgeport and Jonathan Jadach of Stratford, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, sisters, Helen DeFelice and Betty Sykes, both of Shelton and brother-in-law, Mark Yurcisin of Monroe and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours: Wednesday, Nov. 2, 5-8 p.m., Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the visitation at 6:30.
