Boys soccer: Shelton advances to SCC final

The Shelton High boys soccer team defeated Cheshire High, 4-1, in the semifinals of the SCC tournament on Tuesday night at Finn Stadium.

Mikey Sciortino lead off the scoring, followed by goals from Isaijah Robles, Alex DeMaura, and Sciortino again.

The defense of Sean Beacham, Ethan Shuster, Anthony Russo and Kaelin Smith) worked hard to keep Cheshire at one goal.

The Gaels, seeded second, will face fourth-seeded Fairfield Prep on Thursday night at Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven.
