The future bride graduated cum laude from Fairfield University and is a registered nurse. Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and is an engineer. Kaitlyn and Michael are graduates of Shelton High School.
In July 2020, they were engaged in Lake George, N.Y., a childhood vacation spot for both of them.
An October 2022 wedding is planned.
