Reps. Perillo and McGorty oppose $10 million bond to study tolls

State Reps. Jason Perillo (R-113) and Ben McGorty (R-122) announced in a press release last week that they sent an official letter to Governor Dannel Malloy and members of the Bond Commission asking them to remove an item on the bond agenda to bond $10 million to study tolls.

Candidates for governor, senator, state offices to be chosen Aug. 14

Political animals, both Republicans and Democrats, are clawing through contests to determine party candidates for governor and a variety of statewide offices. Party members will be able to have their say by making choices in mid-August primaries.
