JP Sredzinski lives in Monroe with his wife, Emanuela, and children, Caio and Cody. He is superintendent of public safety dispatch and is running unopposed for a fourth consecutive term in the state legislature. Sredzinski was a member of the Monroe Town Council from 2005-2007, 2008-2014, then Town Council chair from 2013-14. He was first elected to the state House in 2015.

Sredzinski said his top three legislative priorities are making Connecticut more affordable, improving public safety, and improving the quality of life for residents.
