The Shelton Youth Service Bureau will be running a Safe Sitter Class on Saturday, Nov. 21, from noon until 6 p.m. at the Plumb Memorial Library’s community room. This course is for young people, ages 11-13,  interested in becoming babysitters or mother’s helpers. The course covers many topics including child care, injury management, child behavior, choking and CPR and safety. Each student will receive a handbook to keep. Cost $25. On Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m., the Trumbull Library will host a musical performance by Nate Barnes and Marcus Allen.
