National Pizza Day deals and specials in Connecticut

National Pizza Day is here, and if you have a sudden craving, these Connecticut restaurants (and locations of national chains) are offering discounts and freebies.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse offers half-off any deep dish or tavern-cut pizza Tuesday through Sunday with the promotion code HALFOFF, available for takeout and delivery through the restaurant and app. BJ's has one location in Manchester. 

California Pizza Kitchen offers a "sweet deal for two" Valentine's menu from Feb. 9 to 14, including one appetizer, two entrees and dessert (starting at $40.) Entrees include varieties of pizza, including Sicilian, five cheese and tomato, Thai chicken, BBQ chicken and margherita. The restaurant also offers heart-shaped pizzas for the holiday.

Domino's Pizza offers a mix-and-match deal with two or more items for $6.99 each, including pizza, chicken, loaded tots, breads, sandwiches, salads and desserts. A carryout deal  features a one-topping pizza, dips and twists, or eight wings for $7.99 each.

Little Caesars deals include "slices-n-stix" pizzas from $6.99 to $9.99, a combination of pizza slices and Italian cheese sticks. 

Papa John's restaurants offer a new "crispy parm" pizza with cheese on the bottom for $12.99, along with "Papa Pairings" for $6.99 each (pizzas, breads, Papadias, chicken and dessert) and other carryout specials, including a limited-time heart-shaped pizza. 

Mancuso's Restaurant & Bar in Fairfield is offering a buy one, get one half-off takeout pizza special. 203-367-5359.

Max Hospitality's Max a Mia in Avon, Savoy Pizzeria and Craft Bar in West Hartford and Trumbull Kitchen in Hartford offer buy one, get one free pizzas. The promotion is available for dine-in or takeout (when ordered directly from the restaurant.) 

Stew Leonard's locations offer $5 flatbreads for customers who use the Stew's app at checkout.
