MIDDLETOWN — Police are searching for a missing mother and her son that was born last month.

Brigette Wood, 32, and three-week-old son, Zion Gonzalez, were reported missing Friday. They were last seen in the area of Eastern Drive in Middletown around 3 p.m., according to police.

Zion is described as five pounds and a foot tall. His hair and eye colors are unknown. He was born April 16, according to his silver alert.

Wood is described as 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds. She has sandy hair and brown eyes, the silver alert states.
