An Easter tradition by White Hills firefighters

Ibsen is the fire company’s treasurer and a former assistant chief. Ovesny is a captain.

The fire company’s annual flower sale took place at the White Hills Shopping Center on Route 110 on March 29 and 30.

A large variety of flowers — including lilies, tulips and geraniums — were available for purchase for the holiday.

Through such fund-raising efforts, Fire Company No. 5 in White Hills has been able to purchase Truck 55, Gator 5, two thermal imaging cameras, a hydraulic rescue tool and many other pieces of the life-saving equipment. Find out more at
