Cooperstown is the home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The stadium, located close to the Hall of Fame, is named after Abner Doubleday, who was involved in the founding of baseball in the 1830s.

About the two teams playing

Last season, the Norwalk Bears qualified for the CIAC class LL tournament as the No. 27 seed and had a 9-11 regular season record before falling to No. 6 seeded Manchester in the opening round.

On the other side, head coach John Cross’ Senators were rebuilding, finishing the regular season last year with a 7-13 record.

Game coverage begins at 4:50 p.m.
