SHELTON — Need to clear out important documents? The Rotary Club of Derby-Shelton is ready to help.

The organization is holding a paper shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Chelton Ave.

Proceeds will be distributed to nonprofit organizations and public agencies that serve Derby and Shelton. Costs are $5 for a small container and $10 for a medium container, with larger containers at a cost to be determined on site. Once the truck is full, the event will be closed.

People are asked to wear a mask and remain in their vehicles. A volunteer will assist those dropping off the papers to be shredded.
