The Plumb Memorial and Huntington Branch Libraries will be celebrating summer reading with a performance from musicians Brian Gillie and Tom “T-Bone” Stankus — also known as “the Elderly Brothers” — on Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. The event will be at the Huntington branch, 41 Church St.
Long-time solo artists, T-Bone Stankus and Brian Gillie have teamed up as the Elderly Brothers, serving up mint-condition “oldies” rock ‘n’ roll with pitch-perfect harmonies and soulful improvisations as fresh as the originals.
The program is free and open to the public. All adults are invited to attend, and registration is required. To register, call Plumb Memorial Library at (203) 924-1580 or the Huntington Branch at (203) 926-0111 or visit sheltonlibrarysystem.org.
