Shelton schools will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 5, due to the approaching storm that is expected to bring snow, freezing rain and sleet before noon.

• Perry Hill Chorus/Band concert is rescheduled for Feb. 12 and 14 at 8:45 a.m.

The libraries in Shelton also will be closed as well on Wednesday.

Public spots that are also closed:

• Senior Center

• The Registrar of Voters Office

• Shelton Community Center

Shelton City Hall is tentatively scheduled for a 12 p.m. opening

• Il Palio is closed today.

• Verace is set to open at 4 p.m.
