From a Shelton farm to your table

Darlene and Bob Mingrone sell produce from their East Village Farm at the Shelton Farmers Market. They also produce vegetable and goat milk soaps at the farm on East Village Road in Shelton.

The Shelton Farmers Market is scheduled to remain open through early November. Hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m.

Now in its 22nd year, it takes place at Shelton Farmers Market Building on Canal Street downtown, near the Riverwalk. The market offers Connecticut-grown produce and other food items, many from local farms.
