Hundreds remember Kristjan Ndoj: 'We have such a broken heart'
Kristjan Ndoj was proof there was good in the world, said family and friends, and his life should be celebrated for just that.
During funeral services honoring the 15-year-old Shelton resident on Thursday morning, friends, family and clergy remembered the high school sophomore who died on March 20.
Kristjan was a young man who stood out in so many ways, said Msgr. Christopher Walsh, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, where the funeral was held. He was athletic, smart, good-looking and a bit of a flirt.
"Above all, [he was] a teenager that stood out for being so kind," Walsh said.
Hundreds poured in to the Fairmont Place church to say goodbye to a friend. "We have such a broken heart," Walsh told mourners.
Kristjan was a student at Shelton High School.
