It's a baseball championship rematch: Darien vs. Trumbull, live Wednesday at 3:30
It took extra innings to decide a winner in the FCIAC Baseball Championship last week. On Wednesday Trumbull gets another shot at Darien, which won its first league title since 1981 with a walk-off hit at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

Thousands of people watched that game live on the HAN Network last Wednesday (rewatch it here). This Wednesday, June 1, HAN will be there again when the Blue Wave host the Eagles at Darien High School. First pitch in the Connecticut Class LL second round game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Darien beat Wilbur Cross, 9-1, in the first round on Tuesday; while Trumbull beat FCIAC foe Norwalk, 1-0, to set up this early-round matchup. This will be the third meeting between the Blue Wave and Eagles this year, with each winning one game.
