Law Day art, essay contest deadline extended
The Fairfield County Bar Association is still accepting entries for its annual Law Day Art and Essay contest open to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Entries must be received by May 15, 2020. This year’s theme is “Your vote, Your voice, Our democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100.”
Students who wish to participate in the contest should submit an original essay or photograph of their artwork (in the medium of their choice) portraying their individual interpretation of the meaning of the Law Day theme via email to email@example.com. All entries should include the student’s name, school, grade & teacher’s name. To learn more about this year’s theme log onto the American Bar Association’s website: http://www.americanbar.org.
All winners and their families will be invited to attend a Law Day ceremony to receive their award from a Superior Court Judge where the winning entries will be displayed in Stamford Superior Court at a time when it is safe for all involved.
