Contributed photoSHELTON — A pedestrian suffered “non-life threatening injuries” Sunday after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the roadway at the corner of Coram Avenue and Center Street, police said.
During Sunday’s storm, police said they were called to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle around 5 p.m.
Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky said a 60-year-old Derby man was transported to the hospital with a head injury.
The driver, a 34-year-old Shelton woman, was interviewed at the scene, Kozlowsky said. Police are still investigating the incident.
