Police: Missing South Windsor woman hasn’t been heard from in weeks

SOUTH WINDSOR — A local woman was reported missing to police earlier this week after family members hadn’t heard from her since late September.

Lameisha Sherman, 46, was reported missing to South Windsor police by her daughter on Sunday. Police said Sherman had previous addresses in South Windsor and Middletown.

She left Connecticut for North Carolina in August, then traveled to Washington, D.C., police said. Sherman was in contact with her family via text until Sept. 25. No one has heard from her since, police said.

Sherman’s last known location was in Washington, D.C.
