SHELTON WEATHER: Monday to be hotter, with thunderstorms possible late
After a stunningly beautiful Sunday, more of the same is expected for early Monday in Shelton — but thunderstorm are possible by Monday afternoon.
Sunday offered lots of sun, temperatures in the mid-70s, a light breeze and low humidity. A perfect day to do some work around the yard or to sit outside with family and friends — and that’s how a lot of people spent their near-perfect spring day.
On Monday in Shelton, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). But by 3 p.m. scattered thunderstorms are possible. At night, scattered showers and thunderstorms are event more likely, with an overnight low into Tuesday of 57 degrees, the NWS said.
