SHELTON - Rob Scinto is shifting gears on plans for space on the corner of Constitution Boulevard and Waterview Drive.

Scinto filed a request with the Planning and Zoning Commission to modify an already approved Planned Development District for the location, known as Constitution Square. The modification would allow construction of an 80,000-square-foot warehouse on the 11-acre lot.

The commission has set a public hearing for Aug. 25 on this proposal.

The original approval allowed for construction of an office building on the property, which is located off Route 8 near Exit 13. This office space was to be built to suit and would have included a restaurant and a fitness facility.
