Grammy Award-winning singer Sheena Easton will perform Friday, Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Edgerton Center at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.

Easton’s career has spanned four decades. She is the only artist in the history of the U.S. Billboard charts to have a Top Five hit on each of the Billboard’s key charts consecutively — “Morning Train” (pop, and adult contemporary), “We Got Tonight” with Kenny Rogers (country), “Telefone” (dance), and “Sugar Walls” (R&B).

Her other pop hits include "For Your Eyes Only," "Strut," "U Got the Look" with Prince, and "The Lover in Me."

Grammy winner and Oscar nominee

The Scottish-born singer is a two-time Grammy Award winner with numerous additional Grammy nominations and one Oscar nomination. She has sold 20 million albums worldwide, including seven U.S. gold albums and one U.S. platinum album.

She has recorded 16 studio albums, released 45 singles, and has 15 Top Forty hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The 776-seat Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts is on the campus of Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Ave., Fairfield, just off Exit 47 of the Merritt Parkway. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
