SHELTON — Ashley Jacob and Diya Patel, the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, head the high school’s recently released top 22 students of the Class of 2022.

Jacob will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall, while Patel will be at Georgetown University.

The top 22 of 2022 was announced last week by Principal Kathy Riddle as the senior class prepares for the graduation ceremony on May 22 at Finn Stadium.

The remaining members of the top 10 and their college choices are Mia Chen (Northeastern University), Joseph Ciambriello (Georgia Institute of Technology), Bianca Youd (Pennsylvania State University), Abigail De Los Santos (Cornell University), Ria Dalvi (George Institute of Technology), Aleksandra Kozak (Sacred Heart University), Joseph Giovannini (University of Florida), and John Esteves (Sacred Heart University).
