Nancy Dickal is well known to work effectively with both political parties to find a solution that will better Shelton's community. Nancy has been a resident of our town for more than 40 years and knows the needs of the residents and is always ready to listen. As a former Commissioner, she recognizes the responsibility and commitment that is needed for Shelton to achieve balanced business growth, conservation, traffic and parking issues; specifically, downtown. In the past she has also served in Appointment and Taxation. Nancy is married to her husband, Alan Dickal of almost 40 years and has two grown daughters, Dawn and Lisa. Her younger daughter, Lisa, is an Animal Control Officer serving Shelton and Derby residents, who is also a state licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Nancy is also an active volunteer along with her daughter in wildlife rescues, participates in Adopt a Street to help reduce community litter, and is very well known for helping residents that need assistance. Nancy would like the opportunity to serve her town for current and future generations to come.
