The Shelton Fire Department responded to the following calls this past week.

Monday, Nov. 1

At 11:20 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex, 91 Howe Ave., for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

At 12:12 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a utility truck to a public service call at a Buddington Road address.

At 3:57 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a utility truck to a motor vehicle accident on Coram Avenue at Center Street.

Tuesday, Nov. 2

At 4:30 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a unit to a Jane Street address for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.

At 11:22 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Huntington Co. No. 3 responded with an engine to a Summerfield Gardens address for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire.

At 12:23 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex, 91 Howe Ave., for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

At 12:29 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound between exits 13 and 14.

At 2:29 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with a rescue truck to a fire alarm activated at 502 on Howe Apartments, 502 Howe Ave. There was no fire. Dust from construction caused the alarm.

At 6:05 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine to a Cisco Drive address for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

Wednesday, Nov. 3

At 5:14 a.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound between exits 13 and 14.

At 7 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Leavenworth Road at Indian Well Road.

At 2:17 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on Capitol Drive at Cali Drive.

At 3:07 p.m., the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with two engines to a fire alarm sounding at a Nichols Avenue address. There was no fire.

Thursday, Nov. 4

At 11:31 a.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3, Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine to a Heather Ridge address for an odor in the building. Dust from construction caused the odor.

Friday, Nov. 5

At 7:15 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine Ripton Housing Complex #423 Howe Avenue for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

At 7:40 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue at Nells Rock Road.

At 12:15 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a fire alarm activation at the Sinsabaugh Heights Housing Complex, 187 Meadow St. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

At 2:48 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Big Y Supermarket, 410 Bridgeport Ave.

At 6:57 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a report of an odor in the area of Howe Avenue at Bridge Street.

At 8:26 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Nichols Avenue at Church Street.

Saturday, Nov. 6

At 4:05 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at a Colony Street address. There was no fire.

At 6:06 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with an engine to the Big Y parking lot for a vehicle smoking.

At 9:58 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with two engines and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound between exits 13 and 14.

At 10:11 p.m., the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 and the Huntington Co. No. 3 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 southbound near Exit 13.

Sunday, Nov. 7

At 1:51 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with an engine to a Cedarcrest Court address for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.

At 7:58 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 responded with a rescue truck to a Kneen Street address for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.

At 9:19 a.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the White Hills Co. No. 5 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a report of an odor in the Merion Riverwalk Apartments, 185 Canal St.

At 3:05 p.m., the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine to assist EMS at an Asbury Ridge address.

At 5:35 p.m., the Echo Hose H & L Co. No. 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. No. 4 responded with an engine Ripton Housing Complex, 423 Howe Ave., for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

At 7:42 p.m., the Huntington Co. No. 3 responded with a rescue truck to a Maple Lane address for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.
