SHELTON — After a tough pandemic and a long difficult winter, the Plumb Memorial Library will be celebrating spring with an interactive game for all residents.

The library will be offering a Bingo card to pick up at the library that offers suggestions about ways to practice kindness, according to library Director Joan Stokes.

To participate, people need to stop in the library or at curbside to pick up an adult or children’s “Kindness Card.” Put a sticker on each of the kindness squares on the card that have been fulfilled during the month of April.

If at least three squares have been filled, return the card to Plumb Library with name and phone number on it by April 30. There are separate cards for adults and children, and prizes will be awarded for both.

Details and Bingo cards with stickers are available at the adult and children’s circulation desks, at curbside pickup or through the Facebook page at Shelton Library System.

The Plumb Memorial Library is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Curbside service is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
