
A Shelton restaurant is one of the establishments donating food for a fund-raising lunch on Monday to support American Red Cross relief efforts in the earthquake-ravaged country of Nepal.
Baingan on River Road in Shelton is one of about a dozen restaurants contributing food to the event.
University of Bridgeport students will host the event Monday, May 4 from noon-1:30 p.m. in the Cox Student Center at UB, 244 University Ave., Bridgeport.
The cost for the all-inclusive lunch is $20 for the general public, faculty and staff, and $10 for students. The event is being organized by several UB students from Nepal.
