Variety of enrichment classes being offered through local Adult Ed program
Valley Regional Adult Education (VRAE) will offer something for everyone with enrichment classes this fall — from old favorites to first-time topics.
More than 80 classes, 240 online classes and bus trips are available through the adult ed program.
The fall 2014 catalog has been mailed to all Valley households. It also is available at the local library and may also be downloaded at www.vrae.org.
Sessions will be held in Shelton, other Valley towns, and Monroe. “Learn something new,” VRAE officials suggested.
Some of the classes are Drawing, Crochet, Sewing, Stained Class, Bookkeeping, Computer Basics, Excel, Facebook, Ballroom Dance, and Healthy Cooking.
Also, Self Defense for Women, Gentle Yoga, Meditation, Animal Communication, Psychic Intuition, Dreams, Tarot Cards, Chinese, Italian, Spanish and Sign Language.
Bus trips include a Boston Seafood Tour; Halloween Happenings in Salem, Mass.; Maine Lobster Bake and Shopping, and Newport Mansions and Shopping.

Valley Regional Adult Education serves Shelton, Ansonia, Derby, Monroe and Seymour. Programs address the needs of the undereducated adult, the new arrival to this country, and the individual as a worker, parent and community member.
