Due to the winter storm on Monday, Feb. 9:
— The Shelton Economic Development Corp. executive board meeting planned for Tuesday, Feb. 10 has been canceled.
— Shelton City Hall is closing at 4 p.m. on Monday.
— Shelton public libraries (Plumb Memorial and Huntington Branch) are closed Monday.
— The city Public Improvement Building Committee meeting scheduled for Monday night has been cancelled.
— Shelton High School wrestling scheduled for Monday is postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at Branford. Bus will leave at 4 p.m. that day.
— Perry Hill School's Dance for Heart is rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb 10 from 3:15-4:15 p.m.
— Shelton Senior Center is closed Monday.
— Shelton Community Center will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, and close at 2:30 p.m.
— Some municipal trash and recycling collections scheduled for Monday may be delayed until tomorrow.
— Shelton public schools are closed Monday.
— Shelton City Hall is scheduled to be open today, but many municipal departments do not regularly operate on Mondays (they are open Tuesday to Friday for extended hours).
— The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley is closed Monday.
— Valley Regional Adult Education in Shelton is closed Monday.
— The Giggling Pig (art studio and workshop) on River Road is closed Monday.
— Valley United Way office on Grove Street was originally going to open at 10 a.m. but will be closed Monday due to heating issues.
