The Cadets went 10-8-2 a year ago, losing to eventual champion Darien in the Division I tournament. St. Joseph boasts returning seniors in defenseman Connor Hurley, and forwards Will Gilbert and Nick DiSabella.
West Haven finished last season with an 8-11-2 record. The Westies lost to No. 3 Xavier-Middletown in their DI first-round game. West Haven is led by forwards Tyler Paine and Jeremy Borelli.

Upcoming games and more
The HAN Network will be covering numerous events throughout the FCIAC’s winter season, including ice hockey, basketball, wrestling, swimming and diving, and the conference’s postseason championships.
Upcoming boys ice hockey broadcasts include New Canaan vs. Darien at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Basketball and wrestling make their HAN Network debut in January with Ridgefield vs. Trumbull wrestling on Wednesday, Jan. 6, and Danbury vs. Norwalk boys basketball on Thursday, Jan. 7.
