SHELTON — To celebrate the upcoming holiday season, Center Stage Theatre is bringing Composer Irving Berlin's musical “White Christmas” to its stage next month.
The performance will run from Dec. 13 to 19. Directed by Al Recchia and choregraphed by Robert Merante, this holiday classic features the music and lyrics of Irving Berlin, with the book by David Ives and Paul Blake.
The show follows Veterans Bob Wallace, and Phil Davis, who have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander.
Performances will be 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. on Sundays, with a special Thursday performance at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16. Adult tickets are available at centerstageshelton.org. Adult tickets are $30. Students tickets are available for $15.
