Win a ticket to a Yankee game by making a Goodwill donation
Goodwill will hold a “Spring is Here, Time to Clear” donor appreciation event in April.
During the month at Goodwill’s 32 donation stations, people can enter to win New York Yankees tickets with car service, Brad Paisley concert tickets at the Comcast Theatre with dinner, or Bruno Mars concert tickets at Mohegan Sun with car service and dinner.
Sports Center hosts event
In addition, a Goodwill donor appreciation day will take place at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton on Monday, April 22 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Individuals who bring a donation that day will receive a gift card for one free activity at the Sports Center, while supplies last. There will be a limit of one gift card per family. A local radio station will be present at the event.
Similar appreciation days will take place at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk on April 17, the Discovery Museum and Planetarium in Bridgeport on April 19, the Brookfield Goodwill Store on April 20, and the Shoppes at Buckland Hills in Manchester on April 27.

Nearby Goodwill stores are in Monroe, Bridgeport, Milford and Waterbury. There is a drop-off location in Shelton (phone: 203-673-6938) at the White Hills Shopping Center on Route 110 that is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
