The waterfront project will be accessed by a long driveway just north of the former Latex Foam factory (now called Talalay Global). There will be an emergency-only access on Fanny Street, which is off Jordan Avenue.
Water’s Edge originally was going to be 14 units, but then the developer purchased another half acre of land from Latex Foam to expand the property’s footprint to about 3.6 acres and add three more units.
The Planning and Zoning Commission approved creating a Planned Development District for the project. A buffer will be created between the Housatonic River and the residential structures.
