SHELTON — A Holocaust survivor will be talking about her experiences at a special event later this month.
Judith Alter Kallman, author of "A Candle in the Heart: Memoir of a Child Survivor," will be speaking at Courtyard by Marriott Shelton, 780 Bridgeport Ave., on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. The event is being sponsored by the Chabad of Shelton, Monroe and Stratford.
According to Chabad, Kallman will detail her story, that of “an orphaned little girl caught in the dangerous whirlwinds of World War II.”
