SHELTON - Center Stage Theatre has announced its 2022 subscription series, with highlights including \u201cFootloose,\u201d \u201cThe Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On\u201d and \u201cCinderella,\u201d which kicks off the new season in February. The series will feature \u201cCinderella\u201d from Feb. 18-27, \u201cLost in Yonkers\u201d from April 22 to May 1, \u201cFootloose\u201d from July 22-31, \u201cThe Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On\u201dfrom Oct. 14-23, and \u201cMeet Me in St. Louis\u201d from Dec. 2-11. \u201cAt a time when so many are eager to enjoy as much art and performance as possible,\u201d Center Stage Theatre Managing Director Carla Sullivan said, \u201cour team worked hard to assemble a schedule that would appeal to families looking for an activity to do together, couples looking for a night out or friends looking to get together.\u201d Sullivan said the organization has pivoted its season schedule to the calendar year, offering these marquee titles five months out of the year spread out over two weeks instead of the usual three. \u201cWe\u2019ll be once again sprinkling in cabaret evenings, comedy shows, youth performances through our educational arm and other limited-run events to keep our community entertained throughout 2022,\u201d Sullivan added. Subscriptions for the 2022 season can be purchased online beginning on Nov. 19. New and returning subscribers who purchase by Dec. 31, 2021, will receive the current season pricing of $120 per person for the five subscriber shows. A new youth subscription will also be available for students (through college graduation) at a promotional price of $60 (through Dec. 31, 2021).
