Company with Shelton facility named to Inc. Magazine list

All-Star Driver, a company that runs driver’s education schools, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s annual 5000 List, a ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States.

All-Star Driver is ranked No. 1,598 on the nationwide list, No. 18 in Connecticut, and No. 23 in the ranking of the top 100 education companies in America.

All-Star Driver has a facility in Shelton, located inside the Connecticut Sports Center on Route 110.

Brandon Dufour, All-Star Driver general manager, said to be included on the magazine’s list is “a validation of our strategy, the quality of our programs, and the hard work of our great employees.”

Growing revenue, adding employees

The Inc. ranking is based on a three-year evaluation of All-Star Driver’s performance, revenue growth of 248% from 2009 to 2012, and 65 jobs added during that time period.

“The Inc. 5000 ranking is based on more than statistics, it is a reflection of a company’s performance,” Dufour said. “When we started All-Star Driver in 2007, we decided to focus on creating a great customer experience. The result has been tremendous growth and now national recognition of our approach to driver’s education.”
