Dr. Peter Ferrara celebrated the opening of his new dental practice located in the Medical Building at the RD Scinto Corporate Park, 4 Corporate Drive Suite 38 with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. The Open House Reception and official ribbon-cutting, with John Anglace and Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce President Bill Purcell presiding, took place on Thursday Oct. 22 at Dr. Ferrara’s office. The celebration featured brief speeches from Ferrara himself, as well as Anglace and Purcell. the practice was filled with staff and Valley supporters who wanted to welcome the business into the community. “We’ve been here close to six months and appreciate everyone for coming,” said Ferrara. “We found this wonderful location and it’s been a dream ever since. We’re for the community, we’re here for anyone who can walk through that door, we’ll take care of them.” Dr. Ferrara began practicing dentistry upon his graduation from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1980 in Westport, Connecticut, where he provided quality comprehensive care to individuals of all ages and their families for 35 years. After the sale of his practice to an associate, and his decision to continue doing the work that he loves, Dr. Ferrara chose to open his new solo practice in Shelton.
