Fight cancer while having a burger
Burger King customers can help fight cancer from through Sept. 2 by contributing $1 to the Jimmy Fund through the A Chance for Kids & Families program at participating Burger King restaurants in six New England states and throughout Metro New York. Local restaurants are at 902 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton, 20 Pershing Drive in Ansonia, 540 New Haven Ave. in Derby and 1540 Barnum Ave. in Stratford.
With each contribution, customers will receive a promotion card guaranteed to be a winner with prizes ranging from an all-inclusive trip from TNT Vacations Powered by Funjet Vacations, American Airlines miles, and theme park tickets, to prizes from Burger King, Aubuchon Hardware and Old Navy.

In the last 13 years, participating Burger King restaurants have raised more than $10.9 million for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Burger King restaurants in New England that will participate in the campaign include: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Metro New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
