Santa Claus will visit Jones Farm in Shelton this weekend
The farmers at Jones Family Farms in Shelton have been in touch with some of the elves at the North Pole and the jolly, old fellow has cleared his schedule to come visit with all his friends from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 21 (weather permitting).
Santa's annual visit to the farm will include time for kids of all ages to spend time with him and have their pictures taken with Saint Nick.
If possible, visitors are asked to bring a canned food or non-perishable food item to the farm that will be donated to the Valley Food Bank.
Trees, holiday décor, gifts
Jones Family Farms is open for harvest-your-own and pre-cut trees, wreaths, garland, tree stands, pine cones, kissing balls and other traditional Christmas décor.
The farm also has a Holiday Gatherings gift shop and the Jones Winery, offering special holiday-labeled bottles at this time of the year.

Jones is open daily through Christmas Eve, from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (it will close at 4 p.m. on the Dec. 24). Jones Family Farms is located off Route 110 (Leavenworth Road) in Shelton’s White Hills section.
