Shelton businesses promote their wares at business expo

Ramon Peralta, above, owner of Peralta Design in Shelton, was one of the exhibitors at the “Come Together for Business Expo 2013” on Monday at the Trumbull Marriott.

The event was a combined effort of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.

Peralta, a Shelton resident, recently moved his creative design business to an office in downtown Shelton. The firm offers services such as logo design, website design and development, and promotional video development.

Exhibitors at Monday’s business expo came from Fairfield and New Haven counties, highlighting the products and services they can provide to the business community.

The expo opened with a luncheon featuring a presentation by James C. Smith, chairman and CEO of Webster Bank, the event’s main sponsor.

The day also included a series of seminars and a networking event with food from local restaurants.
